- New High-sensitivity Interface
The LCMS-2010A
incorporates a new Drying Gas System that helps to create a finer
spray mist that dries the solvent, promotes ionization of the
sample, and permits highly sensitive analysis through the
efficient drying of spray droplets and ionization - particularly
for low to medium polarity compounds
- New ESI Probe
The ESI probe, modified from fused
silica capillary to metal capillary, eliminates the concern for
absorption of polar compounds, achieves higher signal strength and
sensitivity, and vastly improves maintenance
- APCI Probe
The unique low flow rate Atmospheric
Pressure Chemical Ionization probe supports 50 uL/min applications
to permit highly flexible analysis
- QoQ Optical System
The innovative QoQ system
consists of a Q-array + Octopole lens + Quadrupole and provides
superb ion transmittance and the ultimate ion convergence. The
Q-arrayTM precisely focuses ion delivery into the mass
analyzer. The ion optic design for the LCMS-2010A is the most
innovative design in ion focusing technology. Using the
Q-arrayTM and octopole guides to precisely focus ions
to the mass analyzer, we deliver new limits of detection for LC.
- Newly Designed Skimmer
The newly designed skimmer
shape enhances ion transmission to the mass analyzer and detector,
resulting in higher sensitivity
- Multi Sequence Mode
Multiple measurements using a
selection of parameters to maximize information obtained from each
sample. Choose among 64 different combinations within each
analysis
- Improved Functionality
1. Shutter
Mechanism - seals off the vacuum system and reduces gas load on
it. Prolongs instrument life and reduces cleaning frequency and
interface maintenance 2. Sample Injector - provides molecular
weight verification or method evaluation 3. Standard Switching
Valve and Syringe Pump - enables complete autotuning and can be
used to perform infusion analysis 4. Status Lamps - quickly
check status of power, gas supply, vacuum, shutter, heater and
high voltage 5. Connector Panel - enables easy, secure
connection to the probe
