Pharmacia PhastSystem High Speed Electrophoresis System consists of Separation-Control Unit for system control and electrophoresis, and a Development Unit for gel staining. Electrophoresis is performed on a thermostatic plate capable of maintaining temperatures accurately from 0 to +70°C. Multi-step programming capability allows gels to be pre-run, loaded and run automatically. Controlled parameters include: temperature, voltage, current, power, and volt-hours. The whole idea behind the PhastSystem is extreme ease of use and speedy runs.
